Wes Anderson wrote and directed this film as if it was a cross between a Marx brothers movie and the road movies of Bob Hope and Bing Crosby. three men are on a spirtual journey though India. the film's lot funnier than most of the comedies that I've seen this fall. But with the laughs, the film has a powerful message of brotherhood, as they ride though India. "The Darjeeling Limited" is one of the best and funniest comedies of the year.
I'm not much of a Wes Anderson fan, but I really liked this one. I was more accepting of the surreal nature of events in the film.
