"Fame" is the remake of the 1980 movie. the only difference is that the 1980 version is rated R and the new version is a family-friendly PG. The problem is that I didn't see the 1980 version, so I had to see the new version as if were new. The singing and the dancing is much better than the acting, which is the main reason why I giving it a mild yes vote. I love both the students and the teachers in the movie. there are a few stand outs out, including Kherington Payne, Kay Panasaker and Anna Marie Perez De Tagle. Of the teachers, Megan Mullally is the stand out, which including one scene where she sang her heart out. the film becomes joyful when the students show the teachers and the world their god-given talents. They stood and deliver and that why that I like "Fame," even if I saw the 1980 version or not.
