It was an okay movie but I thought it would be funnier.

Say No to "Yes Man." this movie was another attempt by Jim Carey to milk laughs where there are no laughs to be found. He played to same character over and over again. Carey played a loan officer who one day, ran into a organization where all they do is answer yes to everything. Jim got himself trapped into say yes each and every time. the real problem with that is if you say yes every time, that would destroy you decision making habit. So a yes must be balanced with a no. The plot of the movie must have come from Adam Sandler's Happy Madison productiion. Thjis movie is flat-out dumb and once again, we are taken for a ride with another empty performance by Carey. If you ask me, the real star of the movie belongs to Zooey Deschanel. She's the only thing in the movie that I liked.

A decent comedy on par with Carrey's earlier work, like Liar Liar.

There's not much new here, but the story is worth exploring, and his relationship with Zooey Deshanel's character is interesting.
