A remake of the Howard Hawks 1951 horror film. I didn't see the original, maybe I'll see it someday. But Kurt Russell lad a strong cast in this remake as a group of scientist who are stuck in the Antarctic being attacked by a monster who can by anyone. I love the special effects as the monster envolves and attack. To me, it was pretty scary The film was released in 1982, the same year as "E.T. The Exterterrestrial," who the cinema that year show us a nice alien and at the same year we see a frightening image of another.
If you are into this sort of thing, this movie is a must-see. If you can't handle the sight of a head running under its own power, move on.
