Just leans to the side of "See Now". A very good, very suspenseful movie.

It was a pretty well done B movie on.
So-so plot...a very "done before" kind of movie.
Was ok,but would be just as good on the tv at home.
Nothing special on the effects...acting ok.

"The Crazies" want to be an American version of "28 Days Later/ 28 Weeks Later," but the film is too bloody to add human element to the movie. Believe it, the British filmmakers does crazy better than the American filmmakers. The film opens in a small town in the midwest where every one knew each other by name. One day, during a baseball game, someone showed up with a shotgun and from there, it was madness. there was nothing to like about the movie. the reason why I like "28 Days Later" and "28 Weeks Later" is that they put story ahead of bloody violence. In "The Crazies," it's the other way around. the human element was missing and that's very sad. The film ends up empty with plenty of blood to go around.
