Worthwhile comedy about a writer who discovered that army men are using Jedi powers. It's based on a true story, but even if the premise is may be a little silly, you'll be having fun with the movie. George Clooney leads an impressive cast who took the writer on a journey to the wild side of army life. Even if I don't believe some of the things in the movie, I find the film quite funny.
This movie is about a squad of soldiers who are trained to use ESP as an element of combat. As the characters stumble through the events of the story, it isn't entirely clear if they have psychic ninja powers, or if they just have cosmic good luck. Either way, the predicaments they get into and they way they get out of them is goofy fun.
If you don't see the irony about the army using "new age" methods, then you might want to pass on this. I enjoyed the movie, mostly because it had a lot of smart, deadpan humor, which is something that I rarely have the pleasure of experiencing in movies recently.
george clooney movie choices are even worse then tom cruise's. I was hoping this movie would prove me wrong. Unfortunately in this case i still hold a perfect score. If I can only choose one word to describe this movie, then that word would be "LAME".
