"Couples Retreat" is a very bad movie. A type of movie that couldn't decide between being a regular movie or a sitcom. So the movie stops trying and became a confused mess. We have four couples with martial problems that might be solve in a half-hour sitcon formant. But they had to go to the island of East Eden to go though a series of sessions that doesn't mean anything to me. Of the four, none of the four intrest me at all. A cast which includes Jason Bateman, Kristin Bell, Vince Vaughn, Malin Akerman and Kristin Davis, can hold their own in other movies, but can't in this movie. The only two reasons why they're in the movie is 1) Vacation,2) Paycheck. I can't remember the last time Vince Vaughn has ever appear in a good movie. He's been appearing in one bad movie after another, and he doesn't care. And neither do me. I like Bell, Akerman, and Davis and I wish they find something better to do than being in this horrible comedy. I didn't laugh once because I felt too bad about the cast. "Couples Retreat," is more of a retreat for the audience.

I did laugh more than once, along with the rest of the people. It is a good show.

Ok first off its not for teens so any body that gave it a bad review was a teen or has not been in a relationship or has no kids. Its funny cause i have kids, in a relationship, and not a teen so i got all the jokes which were mostly funny. Its a great date night with your wife or girlfriend. .For sure rental.
