Not as strong as the Adventures of Baron Muchausen, but still the most wonderful fable for adults that one is likely to see in years.
"The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus" is a special effect laden movie about a entertainment troupe going though the neighborhoods of London to entain anyone who's will to be entain. Yes, Johnny Depp is in this movie, but he's not the most important thing in the movie. There is heath Ledger in his final role and his role is taken over by Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell. Christopher Plummer is the leader of this band, Verne Troyer in one of his best roles and not to mention Lily Cole. I love the special effects of this movie. It's better than most pricy blockbuster movies. Not a great movie. So check this movie out. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
