If you want to just go and escape for a few hours, go and see this movie. Nicholas Cage was great of course. Interesting storyline with past and present. Good special effects. A mix of thrill, love story with a little comedy thrown in. I'd love to see a magic shop like the one in the movie.

Go and enjoy!

[--- Good ---]by George Jobson VIP MemberJul 24, 2010

A fun movie which may have adapted from the cartoon of the same name in the 1940 film "Fantasia." The only missing is Mickey Mouse, but the mop rotinue is there for a older audience and those who haven't saw the 1940 classic. Jay Baruchel is being reculted by Nicholas Cage in another good performance as they try to stop a evil sorcerer played by Alfred Molina. I didn't expect nothing much out of this movie, but I had fun with the movie and it's good enough for me.
