A brilliantly made movie from 1988 which is for me is the best movie of that year. It is almost overlooked by The Academy Awards, winning two Oscar nominations. I only wish it could have won more. This movie has introduced me to three performers, Daniel Da-Lewis, Juliette Binoche and Lena Olin. These theree gave brilliant performers in this sexually charged and beautifdully made film. This story is about sexual relations in the backdrop of the Soviet invasion of Czechoslakia at the end of the Prague Spring of 1968. I love the movie very much. Much better than the movies that are nominated for the Academy Awards in 1988, which includes the winner of that year "Rain Man." Being not only made my day, it made my year.
