"La Strada" is translated in English to "the Road." This is one of Director Federico Fellini's best works. The film centers on two performers on the road to whatever brings them. One a strongman, played by Anthony Quinn and a young female clown played by Giulietta Masina. Two people who will never find the happiness they desired. When one is gone, the other can fell it's absence. I saw this film in Film class and I was moved by this film. For anyone who has never seen a foreign language movie. You can start with "La Strada." |
