Author Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley wrote "Frankenstein" on a bet that her story is more frightenibng than the rest. she won the bet. that story came to the screen in 1931, the same year that "Dracula" hits the screen. Boris Karloff gives life to the creature. This movie is scary by 1931 standards, but stood the test of time today. I'd rather take this film over the bloody and gory stuff of today.
