This drama from 1967 stars Sidney Poitier as a teacher who teaches kids in the slums of London. I like the chemistry between him and the students. Poitier commands my attention. His performance is likable. I even like the title song of the fim that is sang by Lulu. Every time I heard that song on my favorite oldies station, I just stop and listern. It's a wonderful song. I better movie about teaching that came out in 1967 is n"Up the Down Staircase" with Sandy Dennis as the teacher. I like both movies, but Staircase get the upper hand because of the performance by Dennis.
