"Mary Poppins" is one movie I fell in love with. Julie Andrews in her nanny getup is very sexy for 1964 standards. The film combinds live action and animation. This is new. I recall seeing a Warner Brothers short from the 1930's in which Porky Pig interact with real humans. In 1945 "Anchors Aweigh" has piteed a real life Gene Kelly with an animated Jerry mouse. Here in "Mary Poppons" we see the combination of live action with animation to make it a joy to behold. Mary come to London to to be a nanny. Once Mary shows up, anything can happen. I Love this movie.
