"The Sitter" is a sad viloent comedy which unlike the other babysitting movie "Adventures in Babysitting" from 1987, took a very rough road. Jonah Hill's character is weak. He plays a babysitter who only intrested in the money and doesn't like kids. That's that role that WC Field could've played. He is reduced to a second banana, by not only the kids, but by everyone around him. Of the three kids, the one that I like is Landry Bender as the girl who like to wear make-up and runs around in her ballet outfit. She's the best thing that came out of this movie. If it wern't for her, "The Sitter" would've have gotton a "Stay Away" label. |
