I think that this movie was excellent! My two friends that went with me were moved to tears (and one of them really didn't want to see "Anna and the King" in the first place). The scenery is very exotic and breath-taking. Jodie Foster did a good job portraying "Anna". She really brought the character to life. Go see this movie ASAP!!!
A wonderful remake of the 1947 film, which is not confused with the 1956 muscial. Jodie foster played a British teach who was sent to Asia to teach the children of the king. He is played by Chow Yun-Fat in a great performance. The chemstry between Foster and Yun-Fat worked very well. that helped the movie a lot. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
