A very funny comedy that reminds me of "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?" Robin Williams and Nathan Lane play a gay couple whose son Val is planning to married the daughter of a conservative Senator played by Gene Hackman. So they have to pretend not to be a gay couple to get the Senator's approval and it won't be easy. but the laughs come fast and furious. Director Mike Nichols has created one very funny movie from 1996.
