The first feature film by the Coan Brothers from 1984. I missed the film when it came out to theatres, but I caught it in 2000 when it was released to theatres again.
"Blood Simple" is probaby the first feature film to defy the term Independant movie. the film deserved to be compared to Olsen Welles' landmark film "Citzen Kane." Like the film "Blood Simple" break the rules of knowing how to make a film.
"Blood Simple" is a smart movie made by two geniuses who took the risk and it paid off. I love the movie and I want to see it again.
