I was looking quite forward to seeing this film, as I have been a fan of Ralph Fiennes' since "Schindler's List"...but I found this film to be disappointing, because of his lack of chemistry with Julianne Moore.

He is intense and lovesick, burning up the screen, but she is cool and emotionless, making for quite a lop-sided and unbelievable love story.

Nothing to recommend, not worth the time to say more.

If you are truly interested, catch it on cable or rent it.

"The End of the Affair," is a moving drama about a two-year affair between two people played Ralph Fiennes and Juianne Moore, and the afthermath. Stephen Rea plays Moore's husband.
