[--- Good ---]by Tom K Jan 25, 2000

"Everest" is a very picturesque and enjoyable IMAX movie. It is quite dramatic for a documentary.

The only disappointment was in reading the credits and noting that "some climbing scenes were recreated in the USA".

My second I-max movie, and it's very good. The breathtaking scenery makes thefilm worth the price. ***1/2 out of *****.

What a great surprise! It goes beyond the "usual" documentary....phenomenal photography....gripping story....good music...I sat on the edge of my seat throughout...excellent!

Everest was the most awesome movie I have seen in quite a while. I enjoyed all the aspects of the journey. I liked how it was shown and giving the stories of each of the individual climbers. I highly recommend this feature and see it before it gets away!!

This movie was really informative and interesting. It explains the dangers of the climb, along with the culture in Tibet.
