There are critics who are willing to put "The Godfather" on the top 10 movies of all time. If I made up the top ten list, it wouldn't be there. I know I love the movie, but it just not top ten material. But it still a great movie. Marlon Brando is the real reason why I love this film. Brando is in the center of everything. Brando refused an Oscar instead bringing an Indian woman whose name had slip my mind. He would rather gave great performances, rather than win prizes. the film was directed by Francis Ford Coppola based on the novel by Mario Puzo. It told about an organized crime between the years 1945 and 1955. The opening of the film is powerful. The line, "I'll give you a offer you can't refused" is memorable because Brando said it as a set up for the rest of this film. A man found a horse with his head cut off is another memorable scene. the film is violent and powerful. thje musioc score by Nino Rota dominated the film. for three hours we took a look inside the life of a mafia family. "The Godfather" is a must-see. I love this film and here's a offer you can't refused. See this film along with Godfather two and three. Great film view.

This is one of the Best films of all time, and it should be in the top 10. There are not many (if any) movies that are more memorable. The first and the seccond are specticles to behold, and the third is a waste of time. Whatever you do, do not waste your time on the third. Puzo's book made up the story line for the first two movies. But the third movie was scrapped together with extra material not written by Puzo. Go rent the first two today, and do not spend your time with the third installment.

More dramatic films should be as good as this one.

Multiple layers of story and character development, unpredictable outcomes, and non-formula connections make this a film worth seeing.
