A brilliant movie from 1948 and another great performance from Humphrey Bogart. He reteam with his wife Lauren Becall and joing them is Lionel Barrymore, fresh from his sucess in "It's a Wonderful Life."

The film take place in Key Largo just off the Florida coast. As a hurricane apporches, the three are trapped in a motel with a couple of gangsters led by Edward G. Robinson. The film is suspenseful to the core. I love the storyline of gangsters and a big hurricane. While watching this film look out for Claire Trevor. She gave a powerful performance that landed her an Oscar nominatiuon.

"Key Largo" is a must see.
