It starts out quite slow, but hang in there, as it gets better when the action starts moving along a little more.
Not a classic film in my opinion, but worth a look-see if you get the chance.
"The Philadelphia Story" from 1940 is one of the best romantic comedies I ever sat though. I saw that movie a few years ago on Turner Classic Movies and I want to see it again. This film is a textbook example of how to make a screwball comedy, even if screwballs comedys are the it thing in the 1930's. The film feature three very strong performances from Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn and Jimmy Stewart. If you love a good comedy from the 1940's, see "The Philadelphia Story," a timeless film.
