John Hughes comedy starring Steve Martin and John Candy as a pair of businessmen who are having trouble getting back home to Chicago for the holidays. The chemistry between the two worked very well as they go on every movable piece of transportation in order to get home.
This is Hughes' first movie since he left the teenage movie series. "Planes, Trains and Automobles" is very funny and considerd to be a classic.
