The Saint was terrific, at last a well acted thriller that relies on suspense and characterisation rather than mindless violence. Kilmer gives his best performance in ages and Elisabeth Shue makes a change from the vapid bimboes of the Roger Moore years. Come on Paramount make a sequel.

Val is great in this movie. It is one of the top 3 movies of the year.
Val Kilmar refused to do another Batman movie in favor of playing the Saint. Well his decision had paid off. "The Saint" is fun to watch. Mostly, watching Kilmar in various diguises is half the fun of watching this film.
