In my opinion, this movie was somehow, ingenious. But where it lacked of suspense was that i looked so much like Dark City, a classic, that we can barely be surprised. In many scenes, i recognized dark city themes and ideas. The suspense wasn't well kept as i watched the movie, i understood what was the punch after 20 minutes because it was getting obvious.

Although my first points were against the movie, here's what i liked about it: i liked the love story, it was imaginative, and brilliant, though very old-science-fiction-book-looking. I could feel the emotions going on, and i have to say this was something different from all the other movies about questionning reality. I also liked, i won't spoil, but i liked the fact that people change with events, people can turn from good people to very bad and vicious if they lose control, oh you think i spoiled it, but no, i didn't.

Finally, i would like to remind you that these kind of movies aren't family, so if you are about to go with your kids, don't intend to get out fully satisfied. I watched it alone because i wanted to understand the best way possible, and i got it, i guess. email akaspeak@hotmail.com if you want to tell me anything.

Excellent Sci-Fi (Although having a very 'Matrix' style plot) It was exciting, visually well done and had a few good twists to boot.

With some major stars and a slightly bigger budget The Thirteenth Floor could have been a much bigger hit.

Still, well worth a look.
