Jean-Claude Van Damme jumps into sequel territory for the first time in his career. (Hard to believe, isn't it??) The sequel continues the saga of Van Damme's Luc Deveraux, the unstoppable soldier... Don't even waste your money when it comes out on rental! The female character is a dumb blond with brown hair. The fighting scenes are boring. It was 1 hour and 29 minutes too long. The actions scenes were brilliant, awe-inspiring, and totally violent. There was no plot because Van Damme movies are not supposed to have one. Mr. Goldberg added to the charm of this movie with his elequant speeches that went on for hours. I would pay 100.00 to see this classic sequel to one of the best movies ever produced....and Van Damme was even a producer of this film....what a talented man. I would recommend this one to anyone! This is easily one of the worst movie I have ever seen. The first Universal Soldier movie is a failure anyway. Why make a sequel? All I can say is that at least the women was decent looking, otherwise the movie bites. Universal Soldier 2 is a good action movie. The action scenes are executed with great style, ecspecially the final confrontation between Van Damme and Michael Jai White. Everybody complained about the movie and how bad the acting is. Well wake up. Since when do you go see A Van Damme movie for Oscar Caliber performances. His movies are supposed to offer fast-paced fun action and Universal Soldier 2 succeeded on all counts. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
