How Long Will (insert movie name) Be Playing at (insert theater name)?

Last Updated on Tuesday, January 7th, 2014 10:10 AM

Each theater/chain sets their own schedules for how long a movie will play, and since we aren't directly connected with any particular theater or chain, we can't speak for them.

However, there are two things you can do to determine how long a movie will play:

  1. Watch for their showtimes for the upcoming weekend to appear on their Showtimes page. For example, the showtimes for The Grand 18 - Winston-Salem can be found at:

    http://www.bigscreen.com/Marquee.php?theater=10079&view=sched

We usually get advance showtimes coming in on Tuesday and Wednesday for most theaters, so keep an eye on that to appear.
  2. Contact the theater directly using the Contact Information Page. When we have it available to us, we publish the message recording line and the voice phone number line for theaters listed in The BigScreen Cinema Guide.

For The Grand 18 - Winston-Salem, see this page:

    http://www.bigscreen.com/Marquee.php?theater=10079&view=contact

You will find both phone numbers listed there.

Every theater conducts business differently in how they decide which movies to keep and which to drop so that incoming movies can be played. Even if a theater plans to have a movie for three weeks, they're most likely not going to keep it if it does very poorly.
