The BigScreen Cinema Guide is a web site about movies for movie enthusiasts, published by movie enthusiasts!
Since 1995, The BigScreen Cinema Guide has been providing movie schedules and information for theaters in Wisconsin and beyond. In addition to the delivery of showtime information, we provide detailed movie and theater information. From its beginning, the publication has been produced by Scott Jentsch of SVJ Designs LLC in New Berlin, Wisconsin.
The BigScreen Cinema Guide reaches more than 500,000 people monthly (673,082 in July 2008), with traffic of more than 2 million page views per month (2,461,771 in July 2008). More than 30,000 people have customized the site to select their favorite theaters and movies, and write movie reviews.
We provide detailed information about movies in our Now Showing section, including:
Showtimes appear twice, once on each theater's schedule page, and another time on the schedule page for each movie. Along with the showtimes for movies playing at theaters, we also provide the following details:
We also provide reviews of the movies from an acclaimed featured movie critic, as well as allowing our readers to give their opinions of the movie with our unique rating scale and commentary section titled "Reader Reviews."
Our showtime information is provided by CinemaSource, which is the nation's largest distributor of movie showtimes and related movie information. Most theaters submit their information directly to CinemaSource, so the accuracy of the data is the best possible.
We are able to provide electronic ticketing services for select theaters. This has become a very popular feature with our readers, and we highly recommend theaters provide this ultimate level of service and convenience to their customers. Theaters that provide electronic ticketing have their showtimes appear as links.
