Business InformationAdvertising InformationEvery month, approximately 500,000 visitors come to The BigScreen Cinema Guide for information about enjoying their favorite movies. If you would like to deliver your message to this audience, please review the opportunities below to find the best fit for you!
For more information about The BigScreen Cinema Guide, the number of happy readers that we have, and many other very interesting facts that will not help during a game of Trivial Pursuit, but will help you in your pursuit of more business, please view our Fact Sheet.
Theater SponsorshipsDeliver your message to our readers who live and/or work nearby a particular theater.Theater Sponsorships place your message on all pages related to that theater. (Click here for an example) Most people live or work near the theaters they attend, so this opportunity allows you to deliver your message to a distinct geographical demographic. If you desire to reach an entire geographical area, you can sponsor all theaters in that area for wider coverage. For example, you could sponsor every theater in the Milwaukee Metropolitan area for less than it would cost to advertise on-screen at just one of those theaters. Theater sponsorships are available in the following packages:
You can combine sponsorships for multiple theaters to qualify for better discounts. For example, sponsoring 4 theaters for 8 weeks would be calculated as 32 weeks total. An insertion fee of $50 applies to campaigns less than 26 weeks, and to any changes made to campaigns once they have been placed. Additional insertion fees may apply for multiple creative placements (multiple creative placements in rotation, having a different creative for each theater, or changing the creative every x weeks, etc.). For information about the sizes and specifications of the ads that can be placed on Theater Sponsorships, please see our Creative Specifications page. To order a Theater Sponsorship, or if you have any questions, please use the Contact Form.
Movie SponsorshipsLike theater sponsorships, you are also able to sponsor a particular movie. This provides your message with persistent placement on all pages related to that particular movie, including showtimes, information, photos, and reviews. (See the examples to the right) By delivering your message for a particular movie, you can target the audience that would be interested in that type of movie for a unique demographic. Movie sponsorships are popular with family organizations, such as museums and zoos, since it is easy for them to deliver their message to families by sponsoring all G and PG-rated movies over a particular time frame. These sponsorships are effective and provide a better value than expensive newspaper and radio advertising. You can combine sponsorships for multiple movies to qualify for better discounts. For example, sponsoring 4 movies for 4 weeks would be calculated as 16 weeks total. Movie sponsorships are available in the following packages:
An insertion fee of $50 applies to campaigns less than 26 weeks, and to any changes made to campaigns once they have been placed. Additional insertion fees may apply for multiple creative placements (multiple creative placements in rotation, having a different creative for each movie, or changing the creative every x weeks, etc.). Targeted Advertising Through Google AdWordsWe are happy to provide advertising on this site through the Google AdWords program. Google AdWords enables advertisers to create and display ads on Google.com and the Google content network, which includes Google AdSense publisher sites like this one. You can choose your target audience, set your budget, and see your ad almost instantly. On-Screen Theater AdvertisingIf you are interested in advertising on the screens before movies at a particular movie theater, you will need to visit the advertising information page for the theater you are interested in to see if we are able to assist you with coordinating that kind of advertising. To find a theater, visit the section titled "The Marquee" and look for the theater(s) you are interested in by using the tools provided. In the sidebar of the theater's pages, you will see an item labeled "Advertising Info." Selecting that item will display all the known advertising opportunities that we have for that theater, both online and on-screen. If we have information pertaining to on-screen advertising for that theater, it will be displayed there. Since we do not coordinate on-screen advertising for any theaters, we cannot provide you with more information than what is provided on the Advertising Information page. Unfortunately, due to limited resources, we are not able to respond to inquiries about on-screen advertising. If you are interested in reaching theater audiences...We highly recommend our Theater Sponsorships in addition to on-screen advertising, or as a cost-effective alternative to on-screen advertising. When people come to this site to find out what movie they want to see at that theater, they will see your ad. If you have an on-screen ad running as well, your message will be more effective than without the repetition that doing both provides. Many find that on-screen advertising is more expensive than their budget allows, which makes our Theater Sponsorships a very attractive alternative. You can sponsor a theater for an entire year for less than what some agencies charge for a single month of on-screen placement! Business Sales Contact Information
