The BigD auditorium at the Carmike Riverstone 15 in Canton, Georgia has been upgraded with a Barco Auro 11.1 sound system, and the theater debuted the new system with the animated racing movie, Turbo.

Barco has produced a short promo clip, interviewing guests and executives, all bragging about the new sound system:

The BigD auditorium opened December 17, 2010, and at the time of the opening, its screen measured 78 feet wide by about 30 feet tall. The sound system was capable of 7.1 channel sound and featured six 21 inch subwoofers for added low-end boom. We're trying to find details about the equipment that is being used now.
