The owner of the Rosebud Cinema Drafthouse, an eclectic one-screen theater in Wauwatosa that combines food, alcohol and first-run movies, is opening a second location in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood.

Jay Hollis said he has signed a letter of intent to sublease about 5,000 square feet from Outpost Natural Foods, which announced in October it would open its third location at the site of a 24,000 square-foot former Kohl's Food Store, 2826 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. Both the grocery store and the cinema are expected to open next summer.

The Bay View neighborhood hasn't had a movie theater since the Avalon Theatre closed in 2000.
