The Rivertowne 12 Cinemas in Oxon Hill, Maryland has closed. The last time we received showtimes for the theater was on Thursday, September 26, 2013, so we're guessing that day was their last.

Spotlight Amusements had reopened the theater in April 2011 after it had been closed by AMC Theatres in 2006.

Moviegoers in the area will need to visit one of the nearby theaters to see movies on the big screen.
