The Brenden Rifle 7 in Rifle, Colorado opened on December 15, 2011, according to a recent article published in the Citizen Telegram:
The ribbon cutting for the new Brenden Theatres Rifle 7 movie theater on Dec. 15 was like an early Christmas gift for local movie lovers.
"It was just a special night," said Brenden Theatre Corp. Vice President Walter Eichinger. "You work so hard on a project and then you get the return on it, that is what Thursday night was about."
The theater opened it's doors to community members for a special viewing of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Also in attendance was Brenden Theatre Corp. President Johnny Brenden, who cut the ribbon and offered free popcorn and refreshments to the crowd.
The event proved popular as more than 300 people came out to get a peak at the film, and the new theater.

Brenden Theatres operates seven locations, with the others located in Arizona, California, and Nevada.
