Select Cinemark Theaters Showing Academy Award Nominee Marathons

Posted on Monday, February 13, 2012 4:07 PM

Cinemark logoSelect Cinemark movie theater locations will be hosting two events later this month, celebrating the movies nominated for "Short Film (Animated)" and "Short Film (Live Action)" on one day, and then the movies that received nominations for both "Best Picture" and "Best Director" awards.

"Our Academy Awards program resonates extremely well with our customers who are eager to see their favorite Oscar nominated movies right before the awards ceremony on Sunday night," states James Meredith, VP, Marketing & Communications for Cinemark USA, Inc. "This year promises to be even more exciting, as we’ve added a day that will be devoted to the Oscar nominated Live Action and Animated Shorts, which are usually not readily available to our customers."

If you going watch all nine Academy Award nominated movies for best picture all in one day, make sure you get something to eat and one more thiing; I'll recomend all the nominated movies except "Extermely Loud and Incredibly Close." You on your own on that movie. If they had this sort of thing at my thjeatre, I won't sit though all movies. Maybe a few, but that will be it.
