In 1991, Beauty and the Beast made waves in theaters as the Disney animated musical went on to be the first nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture and won two for Best Music Original Score and Original Song.

It's fitting, then, that the movie is coming back to theaters next week in a sing-along version, the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along Event. On 9/29/2010 and 10/2/2010 only, 504 theaters across the United States will be hosting this sing-along event, where audiences can join in on songs such as "Be Our Guest," "Gaston," and others.

Pop singer Jordin Sparks will be featured with behind-the-scenes looks at the newly restored high definition animated classic and give a sneak peek at her new music video, "Beauty and the Beast." Surprise guest introductions will be made, deleted scenes from the cutting room floor and lost characters will be shown, as well as commentary from producer Don Hahn.

To see if a theater near you will be hosting this event, and to find out the exact showtimes and purchase tickets, click on the two entries below (we're working to get theaters to use one or the other, but until then...):
