The Revenant, from director Alejandro González Iñárritu and starring Leonardo DiCaprio as explorer Hugh Glass, who is brutally attacked by a bear and left for dead, has attracted a wide range of reviews from professionals and moviegoers alike. The movie has been nominated for 12 Oscars, for the cast and crew as well as many aspects of the production.
Over the course of the last few weeks, the studio has added quite a few featurettes and videos related to the movie. You can watch all 23 videos on the Trailers & Videos page. One of the most recent additions is a 44 minute documentary titled "A World Unseen," which covers the making of the movie and its meaning to those making the movie.
Whether people like a movie or not, sometimes it's good to be able to appreciate what went into the making of the movie. Rather than just be a promotional featurette that lands on so many home video releases that is just a "oh, he's the greatest (blank)" interview, this has more depth to it.
If you've seen the movie, let us know if this documentary provided an additional perspective for you, and if you haven't, did it make you want to see it? Leave a message below!
