Los Angeles, CA: World Premiere of "Get Smart" Held at Mann Village Theatre on June 16th

Posted on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008 9:43 AM by Scott Jentsch

Warner Bros. Pictures has announced that the World Premiere of the upcoming action comedy Get Smart will be held on Monday, June 16, 2008 at the Mann Village Theatre - Westwood in Los Angeles, California.

Cast members from the movie that are scheduled to attend are Steve Carell, Anne Hathaway, Dwayne Johnson, Alan Arkin, Terence Stamp, James Caan, Masi Oka, Nate Torrence, David Koechner, Ken Davitian, director Peter Segal, producers Andrew Lazar, Charles Roven, Alex Gartner, and Michael Ewing. Additional celebrity guests will be attending, but the guest list has not been announced.

Celebrity arrivals begin at 6pm and the screening is scheduled to start at 7pm.

The all-new action comedy "Get Smart" sends Maxwell Smart (Steve Carell) on a mission to thwart the latest plot for world domination by the evil crime syndicate KAOS. When the headquarters of U.S. spy agency Control is attacked and the identities of its agents compromised, the Chief (Alan Arkin) has no choice but to promote his ever-eager analyst Maxwell Smart, who has always dreamt of working in the field alongside stalwart superstar Agent 23 (Dwayne Johnson).

Smart is partnered instead with the lovely-but-lethal veteran Agent 99 (Anne Hathaway). Given little field experience and even less time, Smart--armed with nothing but a few spy-tech gadgets and his unbridled enthusiasm--must thwart the doomsday plans of KAOS head Siegfried (Terence Stamp).

The movie opens in theaters on Friday, June 20th, and we have plenty of materials for your viewing pleasure while you wait! Some theaters have already published their showtimes and are selling tickets in advance so you don't have to wait to buy your tickets. We have 42 photos from the movie on the Photo Galleries page, and three different trailers as well.
