The Western movie Appaloosa opens in a few select theaters this weekend, and is being released across the country on October 3rd, and we have more than two dozen photos for your viewing pleasure!

Set in the Old West territory of New Mexico, "Appaloosa" revolves around a pair of hired guns who come to clean up a dangerous town run by a ruthless, powerful rancher and his band of outlaws.

The movie stars Ed Harris, Viggo Mortensen, and Renée Zellweger in a genre that isn't very well-explored. Westerns have fallen out of favor in the past couple of decades, but the ones that have been released have received very good marks for quality. The buzz surrounding Appaloosa is very strong, and I'm looking forward to seeing it!
