Paramount Pictures has announced that the Los Angeles Premiere of the new animated comedy Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at the Mann Village Theatre - Westwood in Los Angeles, California.

Scheduled to attend the premiere are cast members and filmmakers including Ben Stiller (Alex), Chris Rock (Marty), Jada Pinkett-Smith (Gloria), David Schwimmer (Melman), Cedric The Entertainer (Maurice), Andy Richter (Mort), Sherri Shepherd (Alex's Mom), Alec Baldwin (Makunga), will.i.am (Moto Moto), Tom McGrath and Eric Darnell (Directors), Etan Cohen (Screenwriter), Mireille Soria (Producer), Mark Swift (Producer), and Hans Zimmer (Composer).

Celebrities will begin arriving at 9:30am and the screening starts at 11am.
