To finish what they started back in June, Marcus Theatres has announced that they will be opening the new "UltraScreen" auditorium at the Marcus Orland Park Cinemas in Orland Park, Illinois tomorrow, November 26, 2008.
The UltraScreen is a new 400-seat auditorium that features a 70-foot wide screen, stadium seating, and digital sound. Bruce J. Olson, president of Marcus Theatres, said:
"Audiences will see the latest Hollywood blockbusters in vivid color on a wall-to-wall sized screen with unbelievably cutting-edge, crystal clear, sharp images. The UltraScreen experience takes moviegoing to a totally new level of excitement and entertainment and is one of the most dynamic experiences in the industry today."
The press release (included below) does not mention if the new auditorium will be equipped with a Digital Cinema projection system, or if there will be VIP seating similar to what was done in their Majestic Cinema in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The lack of such mentions lead me to believe that they will not.
While we already have showtimes for the Orland Park Cinemas for tomorrow and forward, there are no mentions of which shows will be in the UltraScreen. Typically, Marcus will add that information to the notes that appear below the showtimes, so it may take a few update cycles for them to include that information.
Will be Marcus Theatres' twelfth UltraScreen auditorium

The Orland Park UltraScreen is a completely new 400-seat auditorium designed and built from the ground up as a state-of-the-art showcase for moviegoers in the Chicago suburb of Orland Park and the surrounding areas. This will be the company's twelfth UltraScreen.
