If you liked the movie Marley & Me and you have a dog, or a peculiar taste for dog food (late night munchies?), you can get a 2009 calendar featuring images from the movie of Marley, the mischievious Labrador Retriever.
According to the press release, the calendar is on specially marked bags of Purina® Dog Chow® brand Dog Food Complete & Balanced, Purina® Puppy Chow® brand Puppy Food Completed & Balanced for Growing Puppies and Purina® Little Bites Dog Food.
"Unique, loveable and full of life, these are qualities of a Dog Chow dog and Marley certainly embodies all of them," said Kristen Edler, brand manager for Purina Dog Chow brand Dog Food. "This limited edition calendar honors the mischievous Marley moments from the movie and reminds us to celebrate rascally dogs everywhere, every day of the year."
Marley & Me opened in theaters December 25, 2008 and held the #1 spot in the box office for its first two weeks of release. For more information about the movie, please see the Information Page, where you will find the full plot summary, and links to the trailer, official web site, and more. The movie is due to be released on DVD in April.
