While the Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) is not the only Blu-ray player worth buying any longer (there are quite a few respectable standalone players at reasonable prices these days), it's still the fastest at loading discs and it's the only Blu-ray player that lets you play video games, too!

Amazon's Deal of the Day

For today only, Gift Shop merchant Amazon.com is offering the 80GB version of the PS3 for $349.98, which is 13% off the normal $400 list price. Discounts like this don't come along very often, as Sony is usually pretty strict about pricing for the PS3, so if you're looking to purchase one, don't delay!
