The Marcus Majestic Cinema in Waukesha, Wisconsin will be hosting a special VIP Wine Dinner and showing of the movie Julie & Julia on Thursday, August 6, 2009.

The movie intertwines the lives of two women, Julia Child (Meryl Streep) and Julie Powell (Amy Adams), who, though separated by time and space, are both at loose ends...until they discover that with the right combination of passion, fearlessness and butter, anything is possible.

The Julia Child-inspired meal will include hors d'oeuvres and a three-course dinner with Mondavi wines. After the movie, there will be a discussion involving members of the Milwaukee Chapter of the American Institute of Food & Wine, which was founded by Julia Child and Robert Mondavi.
