The romantic comedy (500) Days of Summer is now playing in theaters and iTunes has a deluxe edition of the soundtrack, featuring three tracks not available anywhere else. The standard version of the soundtrack is also available at retailers and for download.
Two of the three extra tracks are performed by the actors in the film: the Nancy Sinatra/Lee Hazelwood classic "Sugar Town," sung by Zooey Deschanel, and The Pixies' "Here Comes Your Man," which is sung by Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
The movie stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt as a man who falls hard for Zooey Deschanel, and is devastated when she breaks up with him. While trying to figure out what went wrong, he flashes back through their 500 days together, and ends up finding his true passions in life.
You can download the deluxe edition of the soundtrack from iTunes, and the standard edition is available for MP3 download and Audio CD purchase from Amazon.com. Both sites have samples of the audio tracks so you can check out the songs before you buy.
