Today is the day that the teaser trailer for James Cameron's Avatar hits IMAX theaters around the country, but if you didn't get tickets, you can see it right now!

Check out the Trailers & Videos page for the movie to view the trailer in Quicktime format, in sizes ranging from small all the way up to 1080p HD!

The trailer contains lots of visuals, very little dialog, and quite a bit of action right at the end. It's obvious they're pushing the fantasy and CGI aspects of the movie, but unfortunately, the teaser does nothing to convey what the movie is about. Does it have a plot? Maybe we'll have to wait until the next big hyped IMAX event to find out...

Avatar: An IMAX 3D Experience will be released in IMAX theaters nationwide on Friday, December 18, 2009.
