I just added 18 new photos to the Photo Galleries page for Matt Damon's comedy The Informant!, which opens in theaters next Friday, September 18, 2009.

When you read the plot summary for the movie, it doesn't sound all that interesting. Damon plays an executive at a large corporation that goes to the FBI with allegations of misconduct on the part of his company. The FBI's investigation is derailed when they can't tell the difference between collected facts and the imagination of their source. Not all that exciting, right?

However, if Matt Damon's involvement doesn't catch your attention, maybe the fact that Steven Soderbergh is directing will. Soderbergh directed Traffic, Ocean's Eleven and its sequels, Erin Brockovich, Out of Sight (one of my favorites), and many others. The man knows how to make a movie, so you can be pretty sure that he isn't putting out a dud here. Damon is just icing on the cake!
