Universal Pictures announced this week that the Premiere of Couples Retreat will be held at Mann Village Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Monday, October 5, 2009.

Appearing at the event from the movie are director Peter Billingsley; cast member/writer/producer Vince Vaughn; cast member/writer Jon Favreau; cast members Jason Bateman, Faizon Love, Malin Akerman, Kristen Bell, Kali Hawk, John Michael Higgins, Carlos Ponce, Tasha Smith and Jean Reno; producer Scott Stuber; writer/associate producer Dana Fox; and executive producers Victoria Vaughn and Guy Riedel. Other celebrities will be attending.

Celebrities will begin arriving at 6:30pm and the screening begins at 7:30pm.

Four Midwestern couples embark on a journey to a tropical island resort. While one of the couples is there to work on their marriage, the other three set out to jet ski, spa and enjoy some fun in the sun.

They soon discover that participation in the resort’s couples therapy is not optional. Suddenly, their group-rate vacation comes at a price. What follows is a hilarious look at real world problems faced by all couples.
