Sony Pictures Classics recently provided us with photos from the upcoming action/adventure movie The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, which opens in theaters December 25, 2009. The movie stars Christopher Plummer as Doctor Parnassus, a man who makes a deal with the devil by the name of Mr. Nick in order to gain immortality, on condition that when his daughter reached her 16th birthday, she would become the property of Mr Nick.

Now that his daughter is coming of age, the good doctor renegotiates the deal and is in a race to protect his daugher from her impending fate. The movie also stars Heath Ledger (in his final movie role), Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell, Jude Law, and Lily Cole.
