I just added the new trailer for Avatar to the movie's Trailers & Videos page, and I have to say that it's much better than the Teaser Trailer that was released in August.
Here is what is being labeled as "Trailer 1" by Hulu:
It provides more about the storyline and more screen time for the primary cast, but I wonder if it didn't give so much away that we've basically seen the condensed version of the movie? Two hours and 46 minutes condensed down to just over three and a half minutes. I can't imagine seeing this in 3D (much less IMAX 3D) -- with all the visuals I can see it being difficult to keep everything straight.
I have the overwhelming feeling that if it were anyone besides James Cameron behind this movie, it would not be getting the attention and the marketing push, that it's getting.
